The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training is designed for anyone who wants to implement improvements within their department to optimize processes.

This Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training is developed for anyone aiming to improve processes and structures in their department:
• By delivering added value to the customer and eliminating waste in processes;
• By making processes more robust through the reduction of variation.

A Green Belt acts as the project leader and team leader of the improvement team. They possess in-depth knowledge of the organization-specific processes that need improvement. The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt masters the (basic) skills and is supported by an internal Black Belt or an external Master Black Belt.

The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training is a solid starting point, but ultimately it’s about the participant actually applying the acquired knowledge and skills in practice. The extent to which you do this-the transfer-is central to our approach, and we even conduct research on this.
In addition to the joint classroom sessions, you gain access to our electronic learning environment. You prepare for the classroom training in this environment, where you have access to theory, videos, and additional exercises. The Green Belt training is dynamic and practice-oriented; you immediately experience the benefits of implementing Lean Six Sigma within your organization.

One of our Master Black Belts will be your coach. If you need more coaching at your workplace, that is possible too-just ask about the options.

Structure of the Training
The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training consists of four components:
• Lean Green Belt (4 Days)
• Six Sigma DMAIC (5 Days)
• Theorie-examen (2 hour)
• Coaching & Certification

Level and Certification
The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training is at Bachelor’s level. No prior knowledge is necessary to attend this training. After completing the Six Sigma Green Belt, you will receive a certificate of participation. After finishing the exam and a project, you will be certified according to Maruna standards. We adhere to the Body of Knowledge from ASQ, IASSC, and CSSC.

Certification
To become certified as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, we start the certification process together. You will execute a Green Belt improvement project.

Project Requirements
• For Lean Six Sigma certification, the DMAIC project structure is required.
• The improvement potential per project must be at least €25,000 for Green Belt.

At the start, during the intake, we check whether the proposed project meets the certification requirements, so you won’t be confronted with issues afterwards. After completion, an on-site audit is conducted to determine whether the improvement methodology has been properly applied and whether a lasting project result has been achieved. During the project, you can be coached at your workplace by one of our Master Black Belts.
