INTRODUCTION TRAINING LEAN SIX SIGMA GREEN BELT

This Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training consists of 8 days and is based on higher professional education level (HBO). You will get answers to ‘How you can successfully improve your processes’ and  ‘How you can apply the Lean Six Sigma methodology in practice’. In this training we will teach you the most important tools and techniques from the Lean Six Sigma methodology. You will finish this training as a ‘Lean Six Sigma Green Belt’.

FOR WHOM

This training is developed for anyone who wants to improve processes and structures in their department or organisation:

  • by delivering added value for the customer and eliminating waste in the processes;
  • by reducing variation to make the processes more robust.

A (Lean) Six Sigma Green Belt is a project manager or team leader of the improvement team. He has substantive knowledge of the organisation-specific processes that need to be improved. The Green Belt has mastered the (basic) skills and is supported by an internal Black Belt or an external Master Black Belt.

 WHAT DO I DEVELOP

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is a program that starts on the day you sign up and ends on the day we call you a ‘Green Belt’. In our electronic learning environment (ELO), you prepare for the classroom meetings. During the classroom sessions, the forms of work vary. We use a realistic practice case “Pizzeria Mamma Mia”, where you will be asked in your role as Green Belt to improve the pizzerias’ lagging business results. During the training you will be also motivated to define your improvement project. While executing your improvement project, we will support you in different ways. One of our Master Black Belts will be your coach. He or she comes to your workplace, you have contact via phone or MS Teams. If you need more coaching in your workplace, you let us know! We will inform you about the possibilities. Because of the modular structure, you choose when you start following the modules. The lead time of the program is ultimately up to you.

OUR APPROACH

A training is a good start, however it is even more important that you are able to put the learned Lean Six Sigma knowledge and skills into practice. Therefore all of our trainings are developed with the goal to maximise the knowledge transfer. In addition to the joint lesson days, you will have access to our electronic learning environment as mentioned earlier. You will prepare for the classroom trainings in this electronic learning environment where you have access to theory, videos and additional exercises. The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training is dynamic and hands-on. You will immediately experience the benefits of implementing Lean Six Sigma within your organisation.

COACHING, TRAINER, LEVEL AND CERTIFICATE

After completing the theory, a ‘sufficient’ for your exam and the positive completion of a Green Belt project you are certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

In order to achieve a good transfer of learning, it is important that the trainer gets to know the operational environment of your organisation and can coach you on your challenges. Our trainers have many years of experience within different industries and will be therefore of great help to master your project.

The training is at HBO level. No prior knowledge is required to follow this training. After following the training you will receive a certificate of participation. After completing the exam and a Lean Six Sigma project, you will be certified according to the Maruna standard, based on the ASQ.
